This panel gives a flavour of life at the Appleby Horse fair which is an enormous meeting for people and families who love horses, caravans and dogs. Besides showing the main purpose of the fair which was bringing horses for sale, my photos give glimpses behind the scenes at some of the characters that were there.
The alternately sunny and stormy weather was perfect for photography while the people were unexpectedly friendly.
